Every little village along your trek to Northern Bay has it’s own stories from Harbour Grace (hometown of Danny Cleary) to Carbonear, Victoria, Salmon Cove, Kingston, Small Point, Adam’s Cove, Blackhead, Western Bay and Ochre Pit Cove (the local wharf).
Getting around
Explore the scenic Baccalieu Trail, one of the earliest Europen-settled parts of the island-dotted with towns like Cupids, Brigus, and Dildo. You’ll be travelling through Heart’s content, Heart’s Desire and Heart’s Delight all the while birdwatching, visiting museums, art galleries and historic sites. Hiking and walking trails are abundant as are local foods. Visit the historic town of Bay De Verde where you can arrange a boat tour or whale watching.
